Ability to add money into envelopes without having to do a budget

I work as a bartender and server. So my cash tips function differently than my paychecks. Each night my cash tips go into different folders and challenges, but the only way it updates is if I set a new budget each time.

agreed! the same thing happens when i get “income” from venmo or cash app- always hate having to reset my whole budget but don’t know how else to account for this

I think there should be an option to be able to add income without having to redo your whole budget again. As my main income i get paid on a Tuesday but i also get paid from other sources on Wednesday and Thursday so each of those days i have to add more income and redo my whole budget for the week

I think the Income section of the transaction should have the option to add to an envelope :) I have multiple streams of income that come at different times of the month and vary in amount! This would be a huge help :)

I also agree! My husband is paid monthly where I get paid bi-monthly, making budgeting a little different!

I also think this would be a great feature as someone who has a small business I do a lot of Facebook marketplace selling and farmer markets and I’d like a way to add that income without doing a budget

I agree! I have 2 jobs and get paid bi weekly and the 15 then last day of the month. Not a set day for the second job. And sometimes I sell stuff on Etsy etc.

Clever idea! Is this so you can avoid going through the budgeting steps when you record a one-off income? I can see this being handy when I sell something on Facebook Marketplace and have twenty dollars unbudgeted

Jeremy: yes exactly even with the holidays coming up cash could be given, birthdays any kind of 1 off so that i don’t have to redo a budget when i receive income between the month, week whatever you choose
