Delete a pending transaction

One of my bill payments was less this month than normal but it still says pending transaction for the regular amount I’m supposed to stuff even though I budgeted and recorded my expense

Hey Catherine, thanks for reaching out! When you recorded the transaction, did you update the amount directly in the pending transaction or create a new one? If the pending one wasn’t updated, the app will still show it as due with the original amount you set when creating the envelope.

Sasha no I didn’t, because this amount was a one time lower amount than usual. The rest of the time this amount stays the same

Catherine, Gotcha! For the app to recognize that a fixed expense has been paid, it needs to be recorded directly through the Pending Transactions screen. If the amount is different than expected, that’s totally fine—it can be adjusted. Once it’s recorded, the app will mark it as paid.
To clear the reminder for now, I’d suggest recording the expense again by going through the Pending Transactions screen, then deleting the transaction. That should remove the notification for you.
