option to not include savings as part of account
Chidiamara Ogedengbe
when i put money in one of my saving budgets, im transferring into a separate account (ex. my TFSA) almost like an expense, but budget bestie still considers it to be part of my main account and this messes with my budget. can this be fixed?

Hey Chidiamara, thanks for your feedback.
If you're transferring money to your TFSA, you can track this by setting up a dedicated TFSA savings envelope in the app. Then, every time you budget, stuff the amount you're contributing into that envelope. That envelope reflects the transfer you're making in real life and lets you track your savings progress and total contributions over time.
If you’d rather not track that money in the app, you can exclude it from your 'You Have' amount when budgeting or reduce your income by the amount you're adding to your TFSA.
It really depends on how you want to manage your money. Both methods work, just make sure your budget matches what's actually in your main account.
Let me know if you’d like help setting this up or have any questions. You can also email me at support@budgetbestie.app.
Thanks,
Sasha
