When I stuff the envelopes it’s really difficult to understand what’s in there versus what is still needed. Of course there’s the “recommended amount” but there’s nothing I can reference to understand why that’s the recommended amount. For example if I have a fixed monthly payment of $50 and I stuff the envelop with $25 twice a month, there should be a way of seeing how much is already in there ($25), while simultaneously seeing how much is still needed (another $25) (perhaps through a progress bar) for the next payment as opposed to just a recommended amount.
